Q: Can I order my books online with Financial Aid?

Q: Where is the PantherCard Office located and what are the office hours?

A: The PantherCard Office is located in DW building of the Lake Worth campus, in room 102. The office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The office is closed on Fridays during the summer. In the event the office is unattended, call the office and leave a detailed voice mail message including your name, phone number, and description of the problem. Questions and concerns may also be reported by email. All College holidays are observed.

Q: When can I purchase books and supplies with financial aid?

A: Students who have excess financial aid funds available, have Express B courses and have not yet made any summer bookstore purchases, can purchase course materials at the bookstore from June 27 - July 7, 2022. The funds available after your course fees are paid may be added to your PantherCard upon request. Go to: https://www.palmbeachstate.edu/financialaid/ for advisor contact information. Students will need to contact a financial aid advisor directly in order to have funds made available for purchases. Funds will NOT be automatically available.

Q: I can't find a record of my PantherCard activity prior to January 22, 2014, where did it go?

A: Due to the upgrade of our PantherCard system, online statements for activity prior to January 22, 2014, are no longer available online. If you would like a statement, please contact the PantherCard Office at 561-868-3567 or email panthercard@palmbeachstate.edu.

Q: When can I have my PantherCard made?

A: New students can obtain a PantherCard once a valid application is on file. The existence of a student's record in the PantherCard system usually occurs within one hour of completing an application.

Q: How do I open a PantherCard account on my PantherCard?

A: The account is automatically created once you receive your PantherCard. Deposits into PantherCard accounts can be made at any Kiosk on campus, online through the PantherCard Online Card Office, or at your campus cashier.

Q: How can money be added to my PantherCard account?

A: Currently, cash deposits can be made at the PantherCard Card Management Centers located in the LLRC or SLC labs on each campus. You can also make deposits online by visiting the PantherCard Online Card Office or at your campus cashier. Please note that deposits made at the campus cashier will not be immediately available.

Q: My PantherCard has been lost or stolen. What should I do?

A: You should immediately notify the PantherCard Office of the situation at 561-868-3567. Your account will then be inactivated to prevent unauthorized use until a replacement card can be issued and your account re-activated.

Q: How do I get a replacement PantherCard?

A: Replacement PantherCards are available during regular business hours at the campus bookstore for a fee of $10. The replacement fee must be paid in advance at the Cashier's Office or via Workday, and a receipt must be presented at the ID station before the new card can be issued.

Q: Can I withdraw money from my debit account(s)?

A: Withdrawal of cash funds are not permitted from any PantherCard account.

Q: What happens to funds on my PantherCard accounts at the end of the year?

A: PantherCard account funds automatically carry over from year to year, ready for use at any time. Refund requests are processed after the last day of final exams for the spring term with the refund applied to the student's account at the Office of Student Receivables. For students who have graduated or withdrawn, requests for refunds are accepted at any time with refunds applied to the student's account at the Bursar's office.
